Clay Workshop: Photo Madness

Photo Workshop in the Town of Clay

The most intense photo experience of my life! But worthwhile so say the least!! The photograph above was taken in a swimming pool at a gym, I'll let you try to figure out how that shot was created.

Nikki Kahn was my team leader at the photo workshop and hearing words of encouragement from a fabulous photojournalist working at the Washington Post was definitely a boost in confidence!

This was the most adorable couple I met in Clay. They are both in their late 70's and have been living in Clay their whole lives. Harold was born and lived his entire life on the same road. His daughter now owns the home that he was born in.

I need to accept defeat in my battle against blogging

LaFayette AppleFest

The Apple Fest could not have occured on a better weekend. Mid October, leaves changing and 70 degree weather!! Even though the shot above looks posed, that was completely candid. She tried to do the same thing so I could get multiple takes, but of course the my first reflex was the best!

These two little girls were adorable and to see them playing on the craftsman's wooden sculptures was awesome from a photojournalist standpoint, if this ran in a paper it would make so much sense to illustrate the utility of his sculptures!

And without further ado the re-edit of my cheese farm lady: Heamour Farms.
